Hot Pink Smoothie Shop!

Posted by

Are you having trouble moving on from the sea of WHITE shirts in your stack of “need to make” projects?Let's shake it up a bit, and use a Hot Pink Baby Gown!

Let's get started!

Nothing says “girlie” girl like Baby Kay's Smoothie Shop Applique Font...and this super sweet plaid fabric I used called “Primavera” by Patty Young for Riley Blake helped make the letters POP off the Hot Pink gown for sure!

Now...gowns can be a little tricky, so I loaded mine upside down to avoid unnecessary stretching at the neckline. I'm using the Letters E and J in the 6” size because that's what the little Momma and Daddy are calling their new bundle of sweetness! Her given name is Evelyn Jo.

Does it get any cuter than that?

I am really in LOVE with this adorable Applique Font...it stitches up just PERFECT, and the finishing touch of the Bean Stitch makes me HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!

As usual, I used my full 8x8 Fast Frame...simply because I wanted to fill the chest of this 6 month size gown completely! And this was the perfect size to show off my chosen fabric plaid too!As I see it...that's a Win Win situation for sure!

Now...grab your colored baby gown and get your Smoothie Shop on!

It's certainly OK if you don't choose a HOT Pink one too...there are lots of beautiful colored gowns and shirts out there...so be BOLD!
